Living Together

Something happens with pet owners that allow their pets, especially those of the canine persuasion to live with them in the house.

The pet owner soon learns that each animal in his or her care has its own personality and often differ in their ways of doing things.

Spending more time with our pets whether we often want to or not, helps to develop a relationship where we not only learn to recognize patterns of behavior in our animal friends, but they also seem to recognize ours.

Our family currently consists of 4 humans and 4 dogs. There is myself , wife Peggy, son Mark and daughter in law Shonna.

Our 4 dogs are presently, Lilla, Lacy , Buddy and Chelsie. All of our dogs are rescues or strays that were abandoned in our neighborhood.

Sadly, some of our kids have passed on in recent years. We'll dedicate a few pages to them also.

Our Home in the Boonies

We live in Somerset KY USA, on 15 fenced acres of wilderness.

Our neighbors are foxes, turkeys, bobcats, deer, squirrels, rabbits, groundhogs, skunks, snakes, frogs, turtles, lizards and an unlimited assortment of birds including hummies.
