Testing

Be sure you test your pages in different browsers.

You should also test your pages on different monitor sizes and resolutions.

Build your pages at the lowest possible resloution and then test them at higher resolutions. When viewing pages at higher resolutions you may see adjustments that need to be made for a better appearance.

We realize that most people don't have access to more than one monitor size. If at all possible, find a way to look at your pages on larger montors. This is very important if you are going to be building web pages as a professional for other people.

It is difficult to build pages that appear the same on all monitors and browsers. To accomplish the task you should become an ardent student of CSS. Become an expert on page positioning.

This simple website was built using the most basic code we could use and still get a pretty satisfying appearance across multiple browser platforms. If you want to be an expert, don't be afraid to study and experiment.

Creating New Pages

To create a new page, simply load a desired page into your HTML editor. Save it under a new name and start making changes. This will preserve the tutorial if you want to keep it in tact.

If you need to add more links to the menu, just duplicate the list item code in the links division. You don't have to make any changes to the CSS file to add buttons.
