Free Header Backgrounds for Your Website


We're putting together a collection of header backgrounds that can be used to create themes for any purpose.

Spruz and Grroop Websites

If you are using your background image on a Spruz or GrrooP website, here's a A short tutorial that shows how to turn an existing generic template into your own design.

These headers are all sized at 1140+ pixels wide by 232 pixels high. User the modifier to increase the height of the header section on your page as explained below.

To copy right click on the free background and choose Save Picture As. Save them in full quality. They will be restored to their actual size when you save them on your computer. All headers are saved in JPG format. ( File size approximately 30k)



Please - Do not link to the free backgrounds on these pages. Copy them and upload them to your own servers.


Note: If you have a large photo that you want to use for a header, but don't have the software to size and crop it, try the free online photo editor FotoFlexer

All of these header graphics are approximately 1140+ pixels wide by 232 pixels in height. They are of course displayed in a reduced size here.

We left enough left and right margin on these images so that you can size your page to 900 wide if you like that setting.
