Editing Your Template

I wish I could tell you that editing your template was going to be as easy as creating it. Unfortunately, it just ain't so. If you're a web designer the code is clean and easy to work with. If you don't know HTML code, your task will be a little more daunting.

The best way to edit these templates is with a simple text editor or an HTML editor that doesn't change your code. You can make it easier on yourself if you take the time to learn a little bit of HTML coding. Creating the template isn't the problem. When you start editing, even if you're going to use a WYSIWYG editor it helps to know some code.

If you don't want to learn HTML code to edit your template and create your website,
try the WYSIWYG editor Composer found in the SeaMonkey Suite of tools.
Download the Seamonkey Suite at SeaMonkey-Project.org

I also put together a working template that you can experiment with.
Download the zip file , extract it and access the page.html file to view in a browser or edit with Composer.

When you can edit the text, create new pages and link them together , you are ready to use Artisteer to create your own designs.
